NGROPPMAN is a national commodity-based association established to promote sustainable production, processing, marketing, value addition, trade, and industrial utilization of groundnut across Nigeria.
NGROPPMAN serves as the umbrella organization representing stakeholders along the entire groundnut value chain, including smallholder farmers, commercial producers, aggregators, processors, input suppliers, exporters, traders, researchers, financial institutions, and development partners.
From a strategic perspective, NGROPPMAN has the potential to evolve beyond a commodity association into a nationally recognized commodity-development institution. The rebranding pathway is: Build the Association β Activate the Programmes β Attract Investments.
Advancing mechanized processing and value-addition infrastructure from oil extraction to packaging β lifting Nigerian groundnut from raw commodity to finished global product.
Ensuring fair pricing, access to improved seeds, mechanization, climate-smart farming programs, and capacity-building that protect the livelihoods of 50,000+ smallholder producers.
Opening corridors to domestic and international buyers through commodity aggregation centers, export certification programs, and a national digital market intelligence platform.
Target by 2031: 1,000,000 registered members and β¦5 Billion Internal Capital Pool.
NGROPPMAN proposes the launch of the NGRP as a nationwide movement to mobilize citizens, farmers, investors, processors, development partners and governments towards revitalizing the Nigerian groundnut industry β targeting one million stakeholder enrollments.
NGROPPMAN proposes a 3-year, nationwide control program targeting 100,000 farmers to eliminate this critical threat to Nigeria's groundnut industry.
The NGROPPMAN Cluster Management System organizes members into geographically defined, commercially viable groups across all 36 states and FCT.
Each cluster establishes collection centres, warehouses, quality inspection units, and digital weighing systems. Minimum target: 5,000 MT annually per mature cluster.
Cleaning, sorting, shelling, oil extraction, cake production, packaging, branding, and quality certification. At least one processing hub per Senatorial District.
Every member receives a unique membership number, digital ID card, and access to market prices, weather alerts, input requests, loan applications, and extension services.
